У роботі зосереджено увагу на пріоритетах європейської вищої освіти, які спрямовані на покращення організаційної структури та якості науково-професійної підготовки: інтернаціоналізація та транснаціоналізація освітніх процесів, забезпечення якості вищої освіти, актуалізація та підвищення рівня докторантури. Навчання, розвиток культури академічної автономії та творчості вищих навчальних закладів як запоруки сталого саморозвитку, орієнтації на гармонійне поєднання наукової, ділової та практичної підготовки.
Розглянуто основні тенденції досвіду європейських країн, щодо механізму сприяння діяльності вищих навчальних закладів та формування системи освіти в Україні.
