ОСВІТНЯ ТА ПЕДАГОГІЧНА ДІЯЛЬНІСТЬ ПРОТОЄРЕЯ ПЕТРА МАЗАНОВА У ДРУГІЙ ПОЛОВИНІ ХІХ – НА ПОЧАТКУ ХХ СТОЛІТТЯ

У статті досліджується освітня та педагогічна діяльність протоєрея Петра Івановича Мазанова у другій половині ХІХ – на початку ХХ століття. Уперше комплексно розглянуто його участь в організації та адмініструванні духовної та світської освіти в Полтавській губернії як члена правління Полтавського духовного училища, законовчителя ряду освітніх установ (Полтавського інституту шляхетних дівчат, повітового, реального, міського училищ, Маріїнської жіночої гімназії), члена Ради жіночого єпархіального училища та активного учасника єпархіальних з’їздів.
З’ясовано вплив діяльності П. Мазанова на морально-релігійне виховання учнів, його ініціативи з удосконалення освітнього процесу, розвитку матеріальної бази закладів, введення нових дисциплін (спів, малювання, креслення), турботу про дисципліну та житлові умови вихованців. Акцентовано увагу на його ролі як автора навчальних посібників із Закону Божого, які використовувалися в навчальних програмах духовних і світських закладів. Простежено педагогічні принципи священика, зокрема через його звернення до учениць, публікацію повчань. Розкрито ідеї протоєрея щодо значення освіти для духовного розвитку особистості та збереження традиційних християнських цінностей.
